The Collective Bargaining Agreement Committee  ordinarily sits 3 times per year however special meetings may be sanctioned when it is deemed necessary by council.

The Committee shall research and bargain on matters brought to Council as regards the: –

• Negotiation of wages and salaries and other conditions of employment
• Health and safety issues for the industry,
• Critical allowances,
• Upgrading work related allowances,
• Environmental matters,
• Training programmes,

The Committee is also in charge of:

• Coming up with the industy Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Amending the Industry Collective Bargaining Agreement to align it with the changing legal environment
• Ensuring the registration and gazzeting of the industry Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Doing any such other duties incidental to, or connected with the foregoing or as mandated by full council.
