National Employment Council

The National Employment Council for the Cement and Lime and Allied Industry was formed and registered with the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare (Zimbabwe)on the 21st of February 1995.

It is a body corporate and its main purpose is to regulate the Cement and Lime Industry standards through internal and Collective/ combined efforts of the Cement and Lime and Allied Workers Union of Zimbabwe as well as those of the Cement and Lime Employers Association.

The body can otherwise be referred to as the watchdog for all players in the industry. It assists in sanitising industrial relations in order to bring about a harmonious working environment characterised by the highest level of productivity.
